Welcome to the Isle of Wight Welsh Pony and Cob Association website.

The summer is finally here - Hurrah and what a busy time the committee have been having!! With decisions to make , shows to prepare, ponies to groom and gallivanting around the country and before we know it , the summer show has come round too quick!!

We are hoping that Mr Blue sky keeps his sunny hat on ready for the 12th and that all our members bring their lovely ponies out en mass :)

A big well done to all our members who have been traveling up and down the country exhibiting their equine stars with great success. A group traveled recently to the BSPS area 11 summer show at the new forest and special congrats to Courtney Sandison and her roan pony pittybeck pageboy who took a great win and a qualifying champs ticket back to the island in exceptional company. Well done also to Katarina Vale and her lovely dartmoor who won the working Hunter pony too!!

Finally a VERY SPECIAL WELL DONE to our club show secretary Debi Morse who on Sat 7th June Jumped 1000's of feet from a plane all in the name of charity. WE think you're a star Debi even if it was the worst thing you have ever done in your life.

Which brings us nicely on to our big charity show in August. please please please would as many of you as possible come and support this major event. Gary, Amanda and Debi have been working super hard to make this a success and raise money for what you will agree is a very worthy cause. Horse schedules are online now and the best part is .......THERE IS GOING TO BE A BEER TENT!!! Hurrah.

Please keep us updated with your successes out on the circuit ( and also of any new arrivals you may have ) and we will gladly give you a mention on the site.
